Bits of News from All Over

Inky, our resident mouser and door greeter is on the job.  He’s shown here with his good buddy, Rex Norman.  Relaxing in his off time, Inky has a cats eye view of the goings on at the club and he takes his job very seriously since taking over for Bogie our original mascot and greeter.  Although Bogie is gone, we will remember her laid back attitude and playful ‘help’ on the putting green.

So Inky will bring you a bit of news about special events, or members or employees who have accomplished something to meow about.

Text Box: On August 27 we are having a ‘Meet your Candidates Night’ for the upcoming 2009 Board of Directors. In conjunction with that we will have a Happy Hour from 5:00 – 6:00pm. NOMINEES FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2009 BRIAN CHURCH GREG LEE RICH GOVER NITA RITTER BUDDY YOUNG Nominee by petition: As per Article IV, Section 5, Part 2, of our By-Laws: Additional nominations may be made for the office of director, by the written nomination of, such director, signed by twenty (20) voting members of the Club, and delivered to the Secretary no later than the time of the August meeting. Any number of additional nominations may be made, but each such nomination shall be separately made, bearing the name of one nominee, the signature of not less than twenty (20) voting members of the Club, and the written agreement of the nominee that, if elected, he or she will serve as a director. Should any voting member seek election for Director, please follow the steps outlined above and submit to the Board of Directors meeting by the August meeting of the Board of Directors.
