      The Board passed a new nonproprietary membership.  It is an individual membership, called Silver, for $135 per month.  The building fee and minimum are required.  The new members will be required to sign a one year contract.  This will run through May and the Board will analyze the results and go from there. Existing members will be able to move to this new category if they bring in a new member and that member has paid two months dues.  Those that don’t bring in a new member and want to move to the new category will have to be put on a waiting list and wait for the results of the analysis.   Let’s start the New Year by bringing in your friends and introducing them to the new membership drive.  I feel this will be a very successful program.  Thanks to John Siperek and Tonnie Spencer for their efforts in putting this together   

Don’t forget about our promotion on Friday nights for anyone attending dinner.  We will have a drawing for one of our members for $50.  You must have reservations and the reservations must be placed before 5:00 p.m. on Friday.  If no one wins we will add $50 to the next week.  We will max out at $1000.  Every member will be eligible.  If we get too many reservations we will have to do a couple of seating’s.  This promotion will begin on January 1^st.

      The solar project we have been working on has been put on hold by investors until early 2012.

      I hope everyone had a great holiday season.  I look forward to another special and challenging year.
